DRYLINING & DRYWALLING
As an initial specialist for drylining services, Ozel Group has come a long way in terms of experience and scope of works.
We understand that noise transmission has an impact on everyday live. Many of our projects include residential areas and schools. Therefore the requirement of blocking out unwanted noise is a high priority. We specialise in reducing noice through our dry lining systems.
We are Danskin accredited installers of sound soak baffles both hung and wall-mounted. Ozel Group are the accredited South of England installer for Durabella acoustic floating floors, JCW and Danskin cradle system acoustic flooring also. We work closely with all the main gypsum manufacturers in offering a valued engineered project cost for our Clients which is backed up by fully tested design specifications for compliance.

CASE STUDY 1
We were appointed by Willmott Dixon to carry out and complete the dry lining, ceilings and external render works to C Space in 2014. C Space (formally known as Maple House) is a 1960's building on City Road - London, close to Old Street's Silicon roundabout. The building was fully refurbished in what was a technical 'cut and carve' project in order to achieve approx 62,000 sq ft of CAT A accommodation for Helical Plc. The overall works included extending the north elevation, adding a fourth storey to create a frontage on City Road, new curtain walling and facade works with new office space internally.
Our works were very complex which is often the case with a heavy refurbishment project on the fringe of the City. All existing walls were surveyed and lined to accommodate the eventual wall finish. We built new walls throughout to create the new office space and new cores (lifts/toilets etc). We installed new ceilings everywhere and refurbished existing concrete that was part of the heritage scope. We also applied an external pale render to the building to compliment the black bricks which were a common theme throughout the building desired by the architects.
CASE STUDY 2
Heathcote School - Essex
These are photos of external coloured render undertaken by Ozel Group to a school in Essex. Ozel are Accredited STO render Contractors which was used on this project. We also carried out an internal fit out to Heathcote School as well as the SFS and render finishes, all demountable ceilings, partitions and linings all plaster finishes.
CASE STUDY 3
Alexandra Palace Regeneration - Internal Fitout 1
Ozel Group were appointed by Willmott Dixon as part of the team that helped bring this Victorian Theatre back to life with a sympathetic restoration works package. The area below was bricked up in 1936 and not seen since. As you will see on our completed projects page, Alexandra Palace Theatre was sympathetically restored to a high standard in keeping with Heritage Trust requirements.
Before and after photos of a complete internal fit-out by Ozel, in which we installed structural plates to secure new joist-work for a complete flooring system & we installed partitions and ceilings and applied all the finishes including paint. We supplied and installed the toilet and kitchen fittings, undertook the brickwork and staircase works shown in one photo, & this area was shut down for 80yrs before we safely removed all debris before works commenced. This whole area was transformed into a very pleasant working environment, and followed exactly the client's specific requirements of aligning the 'old' with the 'new', and retaining the unfinished brickwork and part plaster walls untouched since 1936.
CASE STUDY 4
We were appointed by Willmott Dixon in 2017 to carry out the drylining /plastering and specialist SAS ceiling installations to One Welbeck Street.
One Welbeck Street was a former Debenhams store located on Bond Street, in the heart of London’s shopping district. The building was a complex structural refurbishment project which was converted into a high end office development for Aberdeen Asset Pension Fund.
One Welbeck Street consists of high end specification and an exceptional standard of finish for a CAT A fit out. 54000sqft of quality office space and modern WC core installations were provided over 9 floors. The entrance reception consists of luxurious high end finishes of leather lacquer and Barisol ceilings.
Drylining and ceiling works were complex, challenging meshing and heavy structural alteration works were also undertaken with delicate quality finishes within very tight existing constraints.
Close coordination and collaboration with site teams and supply chain partners helped deliver this complex scheme.
